Our Story
Nevelli Designer Home Heating and Interiors is a full-service heating and interior company situated in Suffolk. The company was founded in 2009 and acquired by Luke Whitwell in 2018.
Luke and his father John were already running the well-established family business Whitwell Services, a Suffolk-based heating and plumbing company that has been in operation since 1979. The acquisition of Nevelli was part of an expansion project bringing the two companies together to offer clients a full-service from design to installation.
With a background in project management and interior work, Luke spotted the potential of running the heating and plumbing company alongside a home interior showroom. The vision, to provide a platform of inspiration for customers seeking various types of home interior services.
Clients can speak directly with designers to get advice and assistance on their new heating and plumbing installations, request bespoke designs, and expect high-quality installation from a team of experienced plumbers, heating engineers, carpenters and electricians.
Uniquely Nevelli together with Whitwell Services can provide a fully integrated service for customers. This combined with a passion for innovation and over 40 years’ experience in heating and plumbing installation, can offer customers the best of both from a single service company.
Our History
Whitwell Services is a successful, family run business and was first established as a plumbing, heating and electrical company by John Whitwell in 1979. Luke Whitwell joined his father in 1999 and has driven developing the company into new areas in line with the economic and environmental demands of the industry. These developments have included the growth of the operations and office team while retaining the family culture and values that the company has been built upon.
We proudly trade on a sound reputation and have many returning clients, some of whom have been customers for more than 40 years. Our primary aim has always been the care of their clients by providing a professional, reliable and competitive service in all areas of their business.
Our services continue to expand; the plumbing and installations team are experts in oil boiler servicing, repair and oil tank fitting. We are Gas Safety Registered with full experience in the vastly increasing demand for Renewable Energy Installations.
Luke’s Passion
His eye for design has seen Whitwell Services become involved in a host of high-end building projects. His input in every job is significant throughout the process from design to build, ensuring a quality finish to suit the requirements of the client.
In 2018 after some consideration Luke took the opportunity of acquiring Nevelli, a designer radiator company, with a showroom based in Hadleigh it was already trading as a successful business. Luke saw great potential in the brand that had been created and had a clear vision of how Nevelli could generate the perfect platform to run alongside the Whitwell plumbing and installation business.

The Nevelli Portfolio
We quickly enhanced from the existing range of designer radiators to include interior design services, bespoke bathrooms, kitchens and the final touches including tiles and fabrics. The development of the showroom has been a key focus for the business, allowing clients to see the quality of the services on offer. Ensuring Whitwell’s and Nevelli work seamlessly using traditional methods to ensure each project is tailored to the specific needs of the client.
Nevelli, celebrated the re-launch of the business, alongside the official opening of the brand-new showroom in October 2019, introducing kitchens, bathrooms and all things interiors.
